New Year True You Yoga + Body Freedom retreat in Arrowtown

5-day non-residential retreat

From 30 Dec – 3 Jan

9 am – 1.30 pm each day

Start 2025 with the ability to take care of yourself in the way you want to!

Why we’re hosting this yoga + body freedom retreat for women in Arrowtown over new year…

Most women care about their well-being but feel frustrated by their bodies. They don’t want to look like Barbie, but they often don’t like photos of themselves, feel great in clothes or feel as confident as they want to.

Most would love the brain space back that their bodies and well-being take up and are sick of thinking, ‘ UGH, I’m ugly.’

We want that to change and what better way than with five days of yoga and body image work in one of the most gorgeous parts of the world?

Jen is a single empty nester, and Emma’s family doesn’t like celebrations. So we figure we’re not the only ones wanting a special way to bring in 2025!

And what better place than in Arrowtown!

The reason women find bodies so challenging, as we see it…

Messaging almost always centres on getting fit, being well, looking good, managing stress, telling us that if we can’t do those things, we’ve failed! Then we’re told to love our body – and if we can’t do that … more failure. It’s easy to believe we’re broken.

Nope. Nada. No. It’s not true—women are not broken or failures!

During the 5-day retreat, you’ll learn why women are so compelled to focus on their bodies and given a framework to change that thinking. You’ll learn how to self-coach yourself using a step-by-step framework to stop frustrating patterns (e.g. the mirror ruining your day, finding it hard to get dressed, avoiding photos) and be comfortable in your skin. You’ll learn individualized yoga poses that support your unique body so you find ease and relaxation like never before.

The New Year True You retreat in Arrowtown is for you if…

  • You want to have a kinder internal narrative about your body but you don’t want to be told to just accept it
  • You want to end the year powerfully and start the new year with a new relationship with your body
  • You would love a retreat that has long lasting, sustainable effects
  • You would like to be able to see yourself in photos or a mirror without it ruining your mood – and same with trying on new clothes
  • You want more confidence where your body is concerned and would like to be less stressed about what you eat
  • You intellectually understand that all bodies are good, but you know that if your body were different, life would be better.

Here’s how it works…

The retreat is a 5-day non-residental workshop from 9 to 1.30 each day with a generous morning tea break

For the first session of each day, Jen will lead a 90-minute accessible yoga class that every BODY can do. Bring your aches and pains, belly rolls, limitations and upsets. Jen will expertly guide you to a calmer, more peaceful place in your body and mind

After the morning tea, Emma will lead a 90-minute workshop to learn body image self-coaching techniques. You will be led through exercises and conversations (that you can take back to your life and use in an ongoing way) that will begin to heal your relationship with your body and food

We end each day with one of Jen’s delicious relaxations – you will float out the door and off to do whatever your heart desires with your afternoon/evening

You’ll leave the retreat feeling completely different about your body. You’ll have freedom and confidence. You will have a yoga routine that works for you and a structure to bring your thoughts back into line so you can take care of yourself where you have previously been stuck. Bring on 2025!
